Artist Magnet - Message from the Founder - 8-5-09

Magnets:

The general public, thank goodness, has not yet lost its thirst for real culture and ideas. In Broadway shows the singers look plastered over with melted wax. The rest of us are interested in making art. The country must defend its art…The artist has to dream. The artist has to expand the limits of art…” ~Irene Worth

The original members of The Sons of Harmony formed the group in the summer of 1999, while still in drug & alcohol rehabilitation in their home city Baltimore, MD. They became known for their a cappella gospel singing and song selections from days gone by…

In 2007, they received the Fred Newsome Award for "Best Gospel A Cappella Group of the Year" followed by the recording of their first ever album entitled "Working On A Building" with popular songs like "I Love You, Lord" and "Prayer Changes Things" They signed with Tate Publishing to release the "Working On A Building" album, which is set for a September release.

The Sons of Harmony gives a shout-out to the AM family and all of our fans across the country...God Bless Ya!
